Jewelry Fabrication - Saturday Two Day Workshop

Experience: None Required. Beginner
Age 16+

Meets on two Saturdays for 8 hours each class

Date/Time:  Saturday January 11 & 25                          

Beginners: During this introduction to the art of handmade jewelry, you will learn to make jewelry while developing basic skills essential for building a strong foundation. Specific projects are demonstrated and you are allowed to work at your own pace while receiving individualized instruction in a small group setting.
Studio safety is taught as well as proper use of jewelry tools and soldering torches. Skills taught: Cutting, sawing, filing, forging, forming, texturing, soldering, basic stone setting, finishing, and polishing.

Required for class: Silver and gemstones are available for purchase in the studio.  You will receive instructions upon registration regarding how to purchase silver and gems on your own if you prefer.  (Estimated cost $75)
