Jewelry Fabrication Two Day Workshop

Beginner Level/No experience required, age 16+

February 21 & 22  (Friday and Saturday)  9:30am-5:30pm

 During this introduction to the art of handmade jewelry, you will learn to make jewelry while developing basic skills essential for building a strong foundation. Specific projects are demonstrated and you are allowed to work at your own pace while receiving individualized instruction in a small group setting.
Studio safety is taught as well as proper use of jewelry tools and soldering torches.

Materials:  Instructions will be provided upon registration regarding how to purchase silver and gemstones for class. Estimated cost $75.00

Projects:   Stacking rings, a pendant or ring with a flat back cabochon gemstone, link chain bracelet. You can make other projects depending on your skill and design. 

Skills taught: Sawing, piercing, filing, measuring, sizing, texturing, forming, soldering, polishing, and basic stone setting of a cabochon
